Juan Cruz De Urquiza is one of the most renowned jazz musicians in Argentina, standing out as a trumpeter, composer, arranger, and educator.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he has worked with international figures such as Caetano Veloso, Paquito D’Rivera, and Chucho Valdés, in addition to collaborating with many of Argentina’s top musicians.

With over 22 years of teaching experience at EMC and in private lessons, he has led jazz and improvisation clinics both in Argentina and abroad.

He has received numerous awards, including the Konex Prize as Jazz Soloist of the Decade and the Gardel Award for Best Jazz Album in 2013. In 2020, he was honored as a “Distinguished Personality of Culture” by the Buenos Aires Legislature.

María Florencia López is an Argentine trumpet player with an outstanding academic background from institutions such as the National University of San Juan and the Higher Institute of Arts of the Teatro Colón. She has been awarded scholarships by the Mozarteum Argentino and the National Endowment for the Arts, and has studied with renowned teachers such as Daniel Crespo and Valentín Garvie.

Her career includes performances with prestigious orchestras in Argentina and Chile, including the Buenos Aires Philharmonic and the National Symphony Orchestra. She has also won international competitions and auditions with major ensembles such as the National Blind Symphony Band.

She is the founder of the ensemble Quintetas del Brass and actively develops educational projects in Argentina, Uruguay, and Bolivia.

Jeanette Nenezian is an Argentine jazz trumpet player and composer, born in Buenos Aires.

She graduated from the Jazz Program at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory and currently leads her own group, performing original compositions.

Joaquín Muro is an accomplished Argentine jazz musician who leads his own projects while remaining an active presence as a sideman on the local scene.

In addition to his work as a bandleader, he is frequently sought after as a session player.

He performs using a 4D-NV & a 6L-NV mouthpiece on trumpet.
