It is a silver-plated bronze ring, with a cut that allows it to be inserted through the thinnest part of the bell (near the machine) and, carrying it, it fits on the bell at the height where the instrument’s brand is normally engraved. It remains fixed due to the excellent quality cork with which its interior is covered. The effect it produces is to center the sound in each note. Ideal for impasto work, chamber music or similar. Also ideal for filling in popular music line work. Very good filling also when you need to amalgamate the color of a piston trumpet with a rotary system trumpet.
